CNC Bending
All those machines commonly defined "feed and fold" or more simply "CNC", suitable for the production of small and medium batches with frequent production changes, belong to this category of systems. OMAS has been offering this type of machine since 1998 with the WIREMACH® interactive management software, replaced in 2012 by the new WIREMACH PLUS® version. This program allows the three-dimensional management and programming of the part to be produced with automatic and controlled generation of the post processor for setting the machine; the software, exclusively owned by OMAS, has been specially designed to reduce to a minimum the time necessary for the realization of the work program of each single piece, allowing the operator to "program" the machine in a self-guided manner, without the need for any type of computer programming preparation. All the models belonging to the Serie CEB can be equipped with workstations capable of carrying out secondary machining, if necessary, also with the possible aid of robots, thus allowing to automatically perform: blanking, drawing, terminal upsetting, chamfering, chip removal, threading, tapping, rolling, welding, assembly etc.
